Landon 6 Months Old

Has it seriously been three months since the last time I wrote about Landon! Here is a little update

He turned 6 months on August 11! Where did the time go?

Stats: We think he is close to 18lbs but we will find out for sure this Thursday

He wears 6-9month clothes. Mostly 9 month

Size 2 diapers. After this package is out he will be upgraded to size 3!

He has two bottom teeth! They cut threw on July 30th.

Landon loves to eat still. We started him on vegetables and he loves them! We started him on fruit when he was four months old and were worried he wouldn't like veggies but he seriously loves everything! 

Landon HATES to sit up. Most babies his age are sitting up but he just wants to stand. I won't lie it has me worried but I'm told that all babies go at their own pace.

Landon went on his first vacation/road trip to California this month. He was awesome for the car ride and he LOVED SeaWorld. But once we took him to the dodgers game he was a little terror!! Screamed almost the entire game. I think that was the day his teeth were bothering him

He met his great grandpa, and he sure spoiled Landon with some new outfits!

I feel lucky enough that I still get to spend my days with my sweet Landon. He is growing up so fast! Love you Landon Boy!!

We Moved!

I finally have a lap top working again!!!!

Lots and Lots of changes have happened in the last three months.

To start off: 

We moved!!!!

We finally bought a house in South Provo. Do I like it?

NO.

As you can see we have a lot of work to do! 

We first started with the wall of mirrors and tore those off

And then came the painting. And it was probably one of the worst things we had to do. We had to paint the ceiling white, and then we went with a gray color. We never realized how big of a pain painting is. We finished the living room about a month ago, and we still haven't worked on any other part of the house. Here is a picture of the finished living room.

much better right? We bought all new furniture, and changed out the lights and outlets for a more updated look. We plan on mounting our T.V. right about the wood entertainment center. 

Next we have the front door to replace and wood flooring for the kitchen. Wish us luck, this house is a bunch of work!!

Landon 3 Months Old

A little late but happy three months Landon!

Stats: 12lbs 13oz

Length : ??

Diaper size: 2

Clothing size: 3-6month

Things that Happened this month:

1. Landon was blessed by his dad, on 4.27.14
2. We celebrated his first real holiday (valentines and st. patricks day don't count since it was too hectic around then) We loved dressing him up for Easter
3. We went to the tulip festival at Thanksgiving point
4. Landon got his first sickness, which was a cold :(
5. Landon loves being outside and going on our nightly walks to the temple
6. Landon sleeps 8-9 hours every night. Giving this mom a much needed break
7. We started giving Landon cereal. He liked it at first and then not so much

Landon 2 months

Happy Two Months to My little chunk!

This month has been fun with our little Landon. He is starting to recognize faces, and loves to stare at you and watch your facial expressions. 

He has starting smiling :)

We are working on the cooing. He is starting to coo but just a little bit. It's the cutest thing in the world!!

He found his tongue! Loves to stick it out all day long

Just this past week Landon has been on some what of a schedule. He still eats every 2 hours but at 9 or 10pm he will eat and fall asleep until 4am!! Then from 4am-7am. This is a schedule I can get used to!

He is wearing 3 month size clothes, and size 1 diapers.

Firsts

Landon traveled the furthest he has away from home, to Salt Lake. Steven had a mission reunion where he was held by people other than his family.

We went to a children's museum for my dad's work and can't wait to take him there when he is older.

He got shots. Worst. Day. Ever. Cranky screaming baby all night.

I went back to work. Landon got to spend 12 whole hours with Steve. Good for my husband. Sad day for me. 

He is growing and changing so fast. Here are some fun things this past month

stats: we weighed him at home and it said 8lbs even! He is finally at what normal newborns weigh!

he likes to eat every 2-3 hours

he isn't into a routine yet, but he usually can't sleep at night and sleeps so good during the day

He loves his binky 

He loves to snuggle right up on your chest

He is just now starting to focus on faces

In these past four weeks

He went on his first trip to Target

First time to the outlets at Traverse Mountain

He loves to go on walks in his stroller

He went to popeyes and cafe rio 

We don't wear premie clothes any more

 He loves his bath time

He met his great great grandpa

We can't believe how fast time is going!

We love our little Landon!!
